Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance Director is a senior management position at Licking Valley Community Action program.
The Finance Director is responsible for financial planning, fiscal management, payroll, contracts, and risk management for the organization. The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of non-profit and applicable Federal and State accounting methods and regulations. Knowledge or experience with Head Start Community Service Block Grant (CSBG), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Weatherization Programs including standards for grant management is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a closely related field is required. Five or more successful years of progressive accounting/supervisory experience as a senior level accounting professional; non‐profit accounting experience with multiple grant funding sources preferred; Knowledge of fund accounting software and computer applications. Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and non‐governmental grant funding processes;
