Aging Program

AGING-Licking Valley provides the elderly throughout the area with various services.  These include Transportation locally and out of area for personal business and medical needs.  Congregate Meals are provided to the elderly at Senior Centers in the service area.  Home Delivered Meals are provided to eligible isolated elderly.  Information and Assistance aids elderly by providing information available on services and resources.  Outreach is intervention initiated by a provider to identify clients and to encourage the use of existing services and benefits.  Telephone Reassurance provides regular telephone contact or from isolated individuals to provide comfort or help to determine if they are safe and well.  Disease Prevention/Health Promotion provides assistance to clients by accessing services for older adults, promoting community based health programs, and coordinating local preventive programs.
